Puking is more a symptom of underlying issues. Specifically sleep schedule and diet. Also she should lose a few points for drinking soda/eating sweets immediately after having severe dental work done.

apparently she took medication on an empty stomach, in combination with having eaten next to nothing yesterday, I can 100% see that causing her to puke

I feel incredibly sick when taking meds on empty stomach too, so I stopped doing that. Just eat something with, literally anything, a granola bar or whatever, it already fixes the issue
