The problem with longer routes is random shit got forgotten like the brother being arrested and then popping back up with no resolution or impact on the ending.
They made longer routes for things that didn't need it, and short routes for things that needed long routes.
The routes had much better endings in this one, just by nature of not being rushed. Also the Mein Kampf route was just as good as anything in the first game.

The endings were fun, but I don't like that they aren't consistent where a route changes things on a universal level as opposed to a decision branch level.
