Something I'm willing to reveal now that they're both gone; I was told in confidence by a source that her relationship with Aviel seems to have ended completely before they were in Idol together. I was told they had a strange, strained dynamic between them. Hmm....

from what I know they are very controlling over weird stuff like NO overlap and you have to stick to your schedule. you're capped on how long you can stream thanks to again the no overlap rule. Then they leave your ass to dry on projects which they encouraged you to do and helping you handle your community. The reason why the yuko stuff got so bad was thanks to them not helping with moderating and letting the coomers over take the core idol fan base because lol money even if the talent didn't want it. This was even before her long break that when she came back said no more to lewd or spicy content and it all exploded thanks to idol not doing their fucking job at the start of it all. (yes I know her /k/ friends where also being fuck heads to the boobros but the issue started before that kicked off)

idk it just pisses me off that the staff fucked over these girls and they have to take all the scrutiny and blame.
Thanks to dumb contracts and NDAs they cant even defend themselves fully and say how they got fucked over. then even if they had legal right to whistle blow they are blacklisting themselves from a good chunk of the industry. even solo artist that would help with projects.
people need to be harder on corpo staff because they are the reason why these fuck ups happen not the Vtubers. well besides them not reading contract and getting a lawyer.

I dont know much about Momo Otako's situation so it was a pure coincidence that I lucked out on. I'm sure it's like what the others had to put up with.

I don't buy that Momo/Yuko/Pochi weren't comfortable doing that kind of content but I can understand how suffocating it can be, being wrangled under a very strict schedule. Even Holo allows talents to do whatever with the exception of company wide events.

I imagine they were comfortable with it to start with but didn't like what it became, since sexual content always escalates over time. It's the kind of thing a more respectable management would have talked them out of before it started snowballing, but I would genuinely not be surprised if Aviel was instead encouraging it because it was lucrative.

Crossposting this here since revoking permission for something they've previously allowed seems questionable.

Idol Corp. are retroactively revoking permission to train or create AI models using their talents' likenesses without explicit written consent from the management, and have asked for all current AI content to be taken down. Their previous policy was to allow each talent to individually allow or disallow AI content at their own discretion.
