That seems like a strong signal to me. I personally thought she'd be going to a new ES branch of Holo.
I didn't think it would be Phase but ONLY because she's a big enough indie to join as an Invader. Phase literally just brought in a group of invaders, so why wouldn't she have joined last month? But... if she wanted to rebrand with a very different personality, that could make sense. I still put it at 50/50 Phase or somewhere else.
VSJ has some wierd things going on i feel like but literally everyone in it has been thriving, Matara's quitting was really sudden but it seemed to have been amicable or atleast mostly driven by corporate rather than any sort of spicy drama considering she interacts with everyone without any issues, it hasnt had an implosion worthy moment at all, imo, Hololive has had worse recently and before, NijiEN is still trucking along, barring any actual sudden implosions, none of the 3 have any sort of major happenings hinting at something bad on their horizons, imo

My money is on Fishman using Offkai to announce or tease Gen 4. Fishman pulled a similar stunt with the JPs last year, and I would not be surprised if he does it again. I also remember him explicitly stating that the gens are for debuting completely "new" talents, so it would explain why she has to step away from her persona (at least for now) and why she's leaving now, as the debut for the new gen is soon.

The question here is whether Nyana is willing to match the increasingly-high standards that Hololive appears to enforce more strictly than it did before.
Joining HoloEN would probably be something she'd want, given just how much of her passion is driven towards concerts and performances and whatnot, but whether she can handle it(and whether the recruiters think she can) is another matter.
