In your professional opinion would a phase friend getting into holo be a phase win or lose?

Win for phase. Lose for Holo.

It will be some shit nu-corpo where she can do donothon after donothon to beg for money like she did as an indie. I have no idea how anyone could come to the conclusion that Hololive would ever hire someone like this.

People seem to think anyone and everyone could get into HoloEN these days. It doesn't matter whether they'd idk... fit the company's brand image, be able to cope with having to follow rules and limitations, having to actually work shit loads practicing dance and travelling to JP, generally not be so crass as to get cancelled, etc, etc.

Idk if people got anything out of the recent grad string other than retarded rrats and theories, but it's very obvious that many people, specially free-spirited/spontaneous people will not make it in holo.

Phase and Holo are diffferent enough in what they offer talents, what they demand in return, and the sort of people that are suitable for each that I don't think there's any real crossover between candidates being seriously considered for Phase or Hololive (there will be indies desperately applying for both that aren't suited for either, of course).

Could be. Auditions closed August last year if anyone wants to look for clues in Nyana's behaviour.

Instead of guessing at corpos are there any ones that are on track to debut new vtubers in the next few months or events to announce a new generation? We have the new invaders so I feel phase doesn't make that much sense.

Variance Project is showing off their first gen very soon, which could explain the rush to get the graduation over and done with.
I think her being at the size she is makes a total newbie corpo sort of unrealistic though, especially if she isn't taking her brand with her.
Holo and Niji have permanent auditions, so predicting when either of them is going to release a new gen is hard, however Niji's newest gen is very new.
And I honestly don't know for Brave properties, I hardly see anything about their auditions.

Nyana as an IP should be fine. Pippa created Nyana Sextyn9 with Novel Ai which Nyana picked up but eventually she rebranded into what she is now. Nothing in her model is Ai generated therefore she still does hold the rights to the character and channel.

Nyana is larger than even some NijiEN and I don't have the numbers immediately in front of me but I would assume she's larger than most of Brave's top members. I can get total nobodies being desperate enough to join NijIEN or Brave because those are the only people desperate to go for anything at this point, but she has enough weight to pull around and has to know about recent happenings well enough to know NijiEN or Brave would be horrible opportunities that would grant her nothing.

Judging by how she worded things it definitely sounds like she got picked up by a corpo. Considering the major projects she's put on all by herself, it's a given she'd be a shoe-in for any of them, Hololive included. I'm happy for her, even if she seems to be really sad to have to trade in being Nyana to have it.

It's gotta be either Hololive (a huge leap, but it's not every day an indie grows that fast and puts on their own concerts. She's definitely got the chops to be a Holo girl), or Phase Connect (her being a Pippa stan, and that hearted comment). Either way, hell yeah, Nyana.

And hey, if it hurts to give up the bratty cat, just remember; she's always there for when the times comes that you wanna retire from the big stage.

She's mentioning concerts a lot, that definitely seems like a Hololive thing... but man she sounds super sad for someone who got into Holo.

If Holo is true she will be forced to leave behind a big part of the culture she grew herself. HoloEN is becoming more and more pozzed with old talents leaving and new talents virtue signaling. If she's able to filter out that side of the EN fanbase, I think she will do great with fellow lolicons on the JP side.

My honest opinion is gonna be one of these random ass preachy neo-corpos like SVP or GS or whatever that promised infinite event budget in exchange for getting access to her clique connections, the only weird thing is being forced to graduate.

SVP is a ship bathed in gold slowly sinking in the horizon, GlitchStars has a whole system for exploiting YT ad revenue and they're doing great so the only smart choice the later. Although vtubers are retarded and dive headfirst into mistakes all the time.

The reason you still see people willing to join NijiEN or a Brave shell or your dime a dozen black microcorp is they are desperate for any foot in the door no matter how degrading the actual corpo experience is. Nyana isn't at that stage, she isn't making some giant step in her career if she joined Brave or NijiEN which have negative reputations.

This has never been a thing idk where you people are getting it from. A TON of talents didn't tell their families for years after joining, why do you love saying shit that is blatantly false and you obviously know nothing about?

You just questioned if she was in line with the most popular brave talents, I am simply clearing that up. I honestly don't care about this woman or wherever she goes, she's obviously only talked about here because she's in the pippa-orbit.
