First, Alias overslept hard and had to call some completely unhinged uber driver who was as high as an eagle the whole time. They got into a car crash on a highway, caved in the driver's side of the car, the mirrors were gone, the guy ran across 4 lanes to pick up the mirror while cars are blazing through. She was too late anyway and met the most infuriating Karen who just wasted her time and insulted her all the way through. Alias bought another ticket and because the system glitched and wouldn't let her through missed this flight as well. She then proceeded to buy yet another ticket which was 7 hours later. No refunds for previous tickets btw. So, naturally, she wanted to go back to dormitory, called an uber. She got the same guy, again. Who kept going on how you must never kill yourself, but if you want to kill yourself you need to "make it ecological" and do it in the forest. All the way to the dorm, and in the dorm, when he already dropped her off with all the students looking at him and listening to it. And then he had the guts to ask if he should drive her back to airport later too.

Whether that entity can be called a "company" might be something that varies based on local laws but apparently it is in Canada and I'm like 80% sure it's the same in the US too.

The usual meaning of sole proprietor is that you don't have an entity separate from yourself, you're just running a business yourself (in particular you're personally liable for damages or debts from the business). Your business information is filed on a T2125 which is filed with your T1. Typically they don't have a separate bank account, maybe working out of the house etc. Being a corp gives a lot more freedom to keep thing separate from your personal life, as well as reporting periods and other special elections. Has more reporting requirements and cost more to start up with registration fees etc. Director's liability is certainly more limited in a corporation too, but it still exists.
