Let me just say, this Japanese-Korean vtuber who speaks english got recommended to me the other day. She says she'll debut a human model if she reaches 5k subs. She sounds cute, hopefully she's not a babiniku. Have a gander and help her reach her 5k subs dream.

She sounds more like Pochi, using a voice changer to change her voice pitch. Listen to Tomari Mari or Oren for a verified Babinuku, sounds different. If the bunny is serious about a cheap home 3d Oren has done multiple tutorials as well.


As an aside this is a great example of just streaming even though everything isn't perfect. Tetel posting shorts/clips to reddit was another one.

How many mothers let their daughters drop out of school and move to Japan to be an idol? Her mother was either based or insane.

Both, but more based than not.

In a world where helicopter parents not letting their kids acquire any life skills at all is considered good parenting, she let her daughter go and forge her own destiny. Her daughter did graduate, just not with college qualification (that's pretty normal in the Austrian school system), but she had the fallback of occupational training if the idol gig didn't work out (and Kiara did do exactly that after her idol gig). And to this day, she didn't pull a Jamie Spears or Peter Graf.

Honestly, she's firmly on the good side of modern parenting standards. And way on the good side of good parenting on the teenage pop starlet or sports star side.

The cafe got a bomb threat and it's now canceled for those dates.

The interesting part is in the MTL of the image where it seems this might be a reoccurring prank with this being the latest threat.
This and I think a 774 event also got rescheduled/cancelled.

At 16 my parents let me take a summer job out of town that included living in an unsupervised dorm. At 17 and 14 respectively my brother and sister moved to the city for school, and my parents only stayed with them on weekends. 4 days a week they were left to their own devices.



But letting 15 year old Keeki head off to Japan paid for by NND stream donos that could only be paid out to a Japanese address strikes me as a tad bit more on the risky side than most.

While I also think it is nuts to send someone that young, context helps abit.
She wasn't exactly travelling from America to Turkey. She was going to the 9th safest country in the world, from the 5th one at that.
I think with how safe Austria as a country, their resident kinda lose survival skills and no longer understand the dangers of society.
And the world know even less about Japan back then than today, everyone just know it is an incredibly safe society where you can drop a wallet and noone would pick it up.
Also maybe austria (and whatever her hometown is) have a different way of judging ages than your country

I previously saw an Inis stream advertised as her reading the Bible aloud to chat, which was actually her reading passages from an Aleister Crowley text or satanic bible or something.This crucifix bit happening at Easter, and when the Pope died as well, so my impression is that this was not a joke meant in good fun that might have accidentally been in poor taste, but an intentional expression of mockery as part of a pattern of behavior of contempt for Christianity and Christians. Her response to some of the negative reactions is that people are taking it "a bit too far":

Mockery of Christ and believers is to be expected as a Christian - it's demonstrated repeatedly throughout the Bible. It is surprising to see a vtuber who isn't a Twitch 2-view engaging in it quite so brazenly. I personally find this sort of thing akin to /r/atheim ni**er behavior; an indicator of vanity and ignorance.

The crux of the argument there I think is that the reaction to that would be the threat of violence. It isn't the danger of retaliation from man or any hypocrisy of only targeting Christians that is the issue imo (I think Inis would probably depict Muhammad or offend Muslims in other ways just as easily), but the damage this sort of hardening of one's heart does to one's relationship with God, and the risk it poses to influence her viewers along the same path.
