I think PL information should be talked about as-and-when it's topical to do so (on the forum, obviously, read the room first anywhere else); I'd rather people supply the information up-front than risk misinterpretation since that could lead to the wrong people being blamed for things. My gripe with the modern PL culture outside the forum from the past year or so is that it's mostly used by annoying preachy anti-corpo faggots who have nothing to contribute to the conversation beyond "indies are the future because they can post their face and talk about trans rights, the heckin' idol culture is so toxic!"; simply informing people in itself isn't a problem.
