The sub to CCV ratio is screwy, looking at Biboo and Gigi they have disproportionately more live views vs their sub numbers compared to the other girls on the list. I was noticing this last night when Biboo and Calli were playing PoE2 together: watching the streams side-by-side Calli had like 2.5x the sub count but Biboo's channel had nearly 2.5x the live viewers. It's apparent that the older accounts have accumulated a huge number of dead subs.

To the general point, I know about dead subs but the general point is about big event numbers. For example Niji JP Sho Hoshirube hit 180k for the first 3D reveal (his wave and a previous one all got ~150k for these streams) and his subs are 325k. I don't think half his subs showed up, seems unlikely. Instead fans of the wave most likely watched everyone. Additionally, because of how Niji does its 3D pipeline other fans will tune in. Basically, after they hit 100k they are put on the wait list so it can take some time to get one. Thus other Niji enjoyers might tune in

Social security and medicare taxes. The social security tax is 12.4% but if you're employed, you only have to pay half of that while your employer pays the other half. Same goes for the medicare tax, which is 2.9%. However if you're self-employed, you have to pay both of these taxes in full, which is called the "self-employment tax" for 15.3%. This isn't even counting your federal income tax but at least you can deduct half of your self-employment tax (the portion that the employer is suppose to pay) when paying your federal income tax.

Between the self-employment tax and your federal income tax, it's quite easy to be hitting more than a third of your income and that's still not even considering your state income tax. This is one of the reasons why a lot of the Twitch streamer crowd flooded to Texas because Texas doesn't have income taxes. This is even more notable after they lowered the amount of your state and local taxes (SALT) you can deduct towards your federal taxes, which fucks people living in states with high income taxes (like California). A lot of Californians didn't care to notice how expensive their state taxes were getting because it was being taken out of the money they'd pay to the federal government anyway. That's why Californians were screeching about their taxes going up from the federal government, when it was really just the federal government limiting how much their state government could siphon from taxes owed to the federal government without inciting uproar.

The thumbnail she's using for Deus Ex is a recurring joke where she pretends she's going to play some modern slop, in this case Cyberpunk 2077, but it's actually a quality game from the past with thematic similarities instead. It's always the same as it's a long running series and thus easier to recognise with tiles.
I find her thumbnails to be fine and least likely to attract stupid children who'll only bother her about playing Roblox or whatever other Fortnites are popular these days mid-stream.

Most people have no reason to care, and probably aren't even aware it's AI most of the time since the 'tells' are harder to notice at thumbnail size (especially if they don't really know what they're looking for).
