I wouldn't say demand for vtubers is falling short of supply, I'd say the exact opposite, that the amount of talents on offer could be argued to be oversaturated. Nearly all vtubers will have to have an second income source to cover their bills due to having small audiences and a limited income from streaming, and a new vtuber corpo can attract over a thousand applicants that are competing for approximately five positions within a gen, never mind an opening at a reputable vtuber corpo with a good track record.

I'm not talking about Vtubers I'm talking about freshblood who are willing to try Vtubing and I mean actual honest attempts and not Twitch whores who want more money.

Who was the last person who was genuinely a newcomer? fucking Fillian???? I'm sure there are others out there but I think the point stands regardless.

Justice is a good wave but as an example they all already existed elsewhere.

Yes she is swedish which makes this extra funny. I was looking around and many indies I like vouch for her being a sweet girl on the grind for years. While I tried to check the vods for myself, most of them are sub-only on Twitch so it's hard to know at first glance.

I've not heard any complaints about the quality or work ethic of Hololive's last group, for example, which debuted nine months ago. There's not been any real drama attached to them, they seem to be doing quite well in terms of subs and donations. When does their "scrap" nature manifest, and what will that look like? Just for future reference.

I've been looking through my personal archives and realizing I have a large amount of stuff saved that is technically here on the forum, but not well-collated in any one spot. I've chased up a few leads recently, and I think I'm going to start compiling things together into a list of the vtuber fans and wannabe-vtubers out there who have a history of being extremely toxic to the medium. Right now they get covered semi-often in things like Kuri Rinji's livestreams or other commentary channels, but that info is almost always hard to locate and parse as the events fade from public awareness. There was a brief attempt to do this quite a while ago, but I was too busy with IRL stuff to really contribute. However, I feel like it's as good a time as any to give it another go. So we'll see.
