You're using the same logic that the retards at Nexas and other failed corpos had. That as long as you have a nice model and "someone" talking behind it, people will watch.

But why would anyone whale for an AI? Most streamers don't make any money and it's not going to be any different if AI streamers become a thing too. But most streamers do it for fun, how long will someone be willing to pay to keep their AI streamer running when it's not making money?

It's going to be the similar for fully AI movies or games. Why pay full price for AI content when you could just use the generator to make one yourself?

The problem with AI chatbots as they are now is that they don't have long-term memory, and aren't consistent in that they will respond to prompts in wildly different ways. That's fine if you just want an AI to use for your own personal use and can change the prompt if it's not to your liking, but if you want to start passing it off as a person and need to get those responses right and consistent, all while streaming live, those limitations and issues will become quite apparent quite quickly.

Still, I'm looking forward to people trying to get AI vtubers to say negger and how Hitler did nothing wrong (Phase Connect's least racist fan). That's going to be a hilarious story arc.

In a bit of a blast from the past, Magni's freechat (a stream that streamer setup for months in the future so that viewers can use it as a freechat) is finally about to start, making it look like he was about to stream and causing over 1900 people to join



He's actually streaming as Catacini at the same time, and he started reminiscing about his past life (no timestamp but it's over 6 hours in).



EDIT: over 2300 now on Magni's stream. In contrast, his Catacini stream (where something is actually happening) only has 430 watching)

Edit 2: Catacini's also streaming on Twitch, but that's only 160 or so people so it doesn't add much.

They just forgot and then when they realized it's too much of a hassle submitting paperworks and shit for something that will resolve by itself. Hololive probs have the logins credentials locked under a vault and YAGOO have to personally sign off for a manager to access it. Knowing Hololive perm autism they might even requires Lando's signature to open the vault too.
I personally have let dozens of Tender Guarantees runs out instead of closing them manually. It's a normal work thing.
