They fired her from the company but she can still use the model just fine? They aren't really competent with the way they run their company aren't they
She is in such a state right now she only just realised she was on her PL channel with the wrong model.

The assets are stored on the talent's computer, so they would have access to them, regardless of their current employment status. Whether they're legally allowed to use them, or should be using them, is another story entirely.

They terminated these girls and didn't take the models back? This is like being fired from somewhere and they let you keep the uniform.
:whatastory:
She claims they logged her off and changed the passwords of all her corpo accounts, which is a bit like your landlord kicking you out, changing the locks but also emptying out the appartment of all the furniture they rented it to you with.

It would be hard to remove the models unless they have the ability to remote wipe their computers, and that would interfere with claiming your talents are independent contractors not employees. (Running the model remotely is probably not viable for streaming due to latency).

I doubt Brave wants to go down the legal action route, because that's all sorts of messy for very little upside and a PR nightmare at worst. Brave has a very lacklustre image that it would not want this PR nightmare for themselves.

I'm also not sure of British employment laws (someone feel free to correct me) but the talents may well have been entitled to notice of termination that they did not receive. I wouldn't want that in front of a court of law if they've broken employment law there.

Why prohibit collabs with the likes of Aqua or Pippa if they never collab in the first place?

In lighter news, Bae is attempting to eat spicy noodles soon:

Words that may come back to haunt her:

Bae about to become today's most butt-blasted vtuber, which is remarkable given what's going on at Globie.

"Anti-social forces"? What even... depending on how this goes this could unironically ruin v-tubing in the western market. There's going to be witch-hunting afoot here shortly, the normies will be out for blood with this stuff. The Kurosanji types will feel justified in going after everyone, not just Brave or Niji.

There should be at least some way to prevent you from using them. For one, a legal notice that you must delete them and can not use them. Which would ofc imply a properly handled process of terminating a contract and not this mess

If even half of what Seely is saying is correct, there's not a court in the West that will help Globie/Brave even with the copyright breaking and telling people to charge-back. Also, apparently she's already lawyered up, though I'm sure her lawyer is going to be freaking out that she's talking about anything at all.

Yes!

Rule #1 of incredibly messy legal situations: stop talking yesterday (many fail this part)
