I'm a little curious to get other people's take on this moment. I was listening to the stream live and it certainly raised an eyebrow, but I ended up joking about it in the Liveposting thread and promptly forgot about it after that. However, there are several people in the clip comments who are actually mad at Gigi for going too far, and on a re-watch it does come off a little awkward, I guess?

I suppose my personal experience is colouring how popular the film was abroad, because it did very respectable numbers here. But you know, France. The National Film Board gave it our equivalent of the PG rating, not even PG-13.

To be fair, I don't think it should be the purpose of film awards. It's a bit silly to have people in this thread praising Dizzy for bitching about the Game Awards naming normie slop like Astrobot GOTY (seriously, that game is just basic platforming papering over a Sony character funko soyface generator); then complain about the Oscars not bending over to the tastes of Joe Average. The problem is that the American film industry wants to put on this annual megagala so the world at large can watch it pat itself on the back, and you can't have that if you've alienated Joe Average.

A question for anyone who knows, that castle place suisei lives in/is making in the new minekra server... is she actually building that from scratch or just copy-pasting from some guide? Because being a minekra builder autist, if that's from scratch it's probably the best work any Holo has ever done, it even follows common building conventions and techniques so I am insanely curious.

She mentioned looking up builds and then just modifying them when she was working on her town, so I assume that's what she's doing with it.
