most people are not buying 100g worth of tea they are buying a tin or 2 to support their oshi of choice lets be honest your paying for the "cute tin" which ive seen priced locally anywhere between 5-20$ so hypothetically id be paying for the tin with some bonus crappy tea in.


7 is fairly normal for a "tea drinker" 3 at the major meal times (morning noon and night) and 3 more in the between times give or take an extra. on the whole coffee drinkers are worse going 10ish on average from the sample size of everyone i know even worse if you factor in they are drinking those foam cups that hold more liquid then a Teacup would. even the small.

i am the only sane tea drinker here send help.

If anything that's an under-estimate, I drink multiple carafes of loose-leaf a day and keep it going fairly steady throughout the whole day. IMO hard-core tea drinkers will tend to drink more overall since it's a waste to not re-brew your loose leaf for a couple batches and most teas have less caffeine than coffee. 5 bags is especially egregious, that's maybe a carafe at most and tea bags are always the tea dust/debris left over after the loose leaf stuff. So it's low quality + not rebrewable, most likely.

Too bad, I was actually kind of interested and I'm picky with my merch. It's a good idea, just not executed very well

I hate warm drinks in general so I have no horse in this "Is 7 cups of tea too much?" discussion, but I will say that I like coffee a lot more than tea (still dislike them both) so 7 cups seems like torture to me, though I like iced tea a lot.
