One of the main stuff that i have been advocating is for people to get 2 machines for their streaming setups, the second one doesnt even have to be that powerful even now that the Intel B580 is a transcoding beast, the problem with vtubers that i have observed is that they 1 setup and pour everything on it, especially with prebuilts that come with shit ass rams (lol PNY lol Silicon power) or cheapo m2s (lol klevvs lol patriots), using faulty ass cpus (lol intel trust me bro this microcode will work this time, wait WHY IS 20% MORE SLOWER??? WHY IT IS MELTING?? sorry bro your problem)

Funny AMD announced into CES new APUs with fuck awesome graphics that can do that work easily, they are mostly oriented for laptops but chineses manufacturers like Minisforum love to plaster them on Mini ATX or Mini PC boxes then put it on max TPD mode

Why vtubers get into so much scuff because they abuse 1 single cpu and 1 gpu for obs+vtuber studio + tracking software + game, i dont know much about it because all the vtubers i ask questions have wildly different answers or dont know how to measure how much resources their models are burning i need a test subject that record how bad it is

Gonna be real with you, dual PC setup is ass to set up as well, there's a lot of stupidity that comes with bringing a new source onto OBS and delegate the effects of them properly, mainly if you do interactivity and have enough brains to connect game and OBS effects locally so they occur in sync, likely hooking the Twitch API in two machines will require a bit of coding, which I think is above a streamer payroll.
I'm being nitpicky about it, but it's the same argument I'd use for people that don't drop Windows for Linux: it's more practical and unfortunately, not everything will work, either the same or not work at all.

I'm being nitpicky about it, but it's the same argument I'd use for people that don't drop Windows for Linux: it's more practical and unfortunately, not everything will work, either the same or not work at all.

I know is a hassle but if this is your work, reducing the headaches of a total PC death is worth the learning curve
