None of it's the unicorns fault their a small part of the girl's audience and already awful enough that we don't need to blame them for other's actions

Now obviously talents like Goldbullet and Hakka that push for 'safe spaces' and 'trans rights' and such make their own choices, but ignoring the individual personalities: ENStars were/are essentially shunned away from collabing with any of the girls (even the ones who would collab with them originally) and harassed non-stop by schizo unicorns. Thus they did not have many people to collab with in-company and they gravitated towards the indie/Niji/Vshojo crowd, and picked up those kinds of fans, leading to their fanbases being the kind to post 'trigger warnings', as I recently pointed out.

No unfortunately they're just catering to two different audiences and they seem to appeal more to woman who tragically lean towards that sort of bullshit. We just lost a lot of the natural broness when Vesper and Magni graduated sadly

PS3 manufacturing was discontinued around 2015-2017, depending on where you live. That's not retro.

Unicorns exist but their numbers are not as big as what the Stars fans are claiming. Majority of the Hololive' fans have much better things to do than constantly harassing people they are not interested in. There are however, many Hololive fans who are only interested on the girls and have zero interest on the guys. When they and their oshis are constantly being blamed by the outspoken Stars fans for their male oshis not being popular, don't be surprised when they retaliate with hate.

This seems to be another rrat spread by the Stars fans. Calli and Kronii were only close with Magni and Vesper, so when those two graduated, they basically stopped interacting with StarsEN. Calli and Bae were part of VCR Rust so it's not like they are suddenly afraid of interacting with males.

By no means am I saying it's a primary factor or that it was a bigger factor than 1. Vesper going manhera and kickstarting the sequence of events that culminated in losing him and Magni, or 2. the simple fact of male vtubers being more likely to draw a female audience due to preconceptions of male vtubers (this actually goes hand in hand with my point, because Niji males were the primary example for 'male EN vtubers'), or 3. the personalities of the newer stars. Just that it may be a factor.

I'm also not saying that unicorns are a large crowd or anything, they are like a black guy in a movie theater: a loud minority. But loud minorities can and do effect change sometimes, even if it's as simple as someone deciding, "Eh, I'd rather not deal with 3 schizos in my chat and twitter." The same goes for the 'homobeggar', but I think they are even fewer in number than unicorns and not as loud, so for the most part I don't buy the argument that the hate is a retaliation against them.

Oh my God. What could have possibly have happened? She deleted the vod so I guess we will never know. Just kidding. It turns out the guy she was collabing with, Meowdy_Purrtner, was streaming his perspective. I timestamped the moment where it starts getting weird. Be warned, on an autism scale from 1 to 10, this guy is an 11.

I just love how she is clearly uncomfortable and Autismo McGee here can't pick up on it at all and proceeds to double and triple down.

This is dumb and irrelevant though. You're suggesting that the people in their chats posting trigger warnings for Mouthwashing, or membershipping to Hakka to watch Ru Paul's Drag Race and sending in their pics of Hakkitos with trans flags for a room review are people who don't watch their streams?

The point is that their fans suck, not this unicorn cope that they don't exist unless they are seething at the girls on twitter.
This has nothing to do with their popularity or lack thereof (aside from the fact that terrible fans like this are able to more easily commandeer a smaller fanbase).

JP and EN (and ID) are ran by different management teams, could just be a difference in their policies.

It's also been 5 years since the incident. Things will change in 5 years. They have developed plenty of counter-measures and policies compared to pre-vtuber-boom 2020 and have built up the Cover Corp clout to hire skilled managers and other big names instead of letting random interns take care of their talents.

Not to mention they are still chronically short on staff, so keeping males out would be retarded.

I think a more accurate first statement is "Who wants Holostars to be more successfu?" Since many of the people trying to argue for Holostars have no problem starting their argument with "I'm not a Holostars fan, but..."
