She is trying to push the narrative that they at the same time liked her so much she was welcomed with open arms into the company, but also hated her so much that they pushed her out. Now, considering her career pre-Holo was flashing panties on stream and doing cosplay of hot characters, I really don't see how the management's opinion of her would drastically change during her time in Hololive. That whole thing just screams like an envious ex who is salty her boyfriend immediately forgot about her and found even better girlfriend. She literally went through the exact same stages with Hololive. Shitting on him at any opportunity immediately after a break up, then trying to act like she is totally over it and has a new life some time after, then telling everyone around how she made him who he is and he should be grateful, then going off how she totally didn't chase him - it was him who begged her to start dating.
Next she will start trying to get back together "even just as a friend" and be even more pathetic about a breakup than she already is

I can believe that Hololive wanted her. She was amazingly creative as coco. Knowing english is also a huge plus for a company looking for globalization. We know Hololive was opening EN audition even before Coco debuted and the internet mistakenly attribute HoloEN to Coco.
And "within a week" could mean 6 days after application. It isn't that short of a time anyway
She also could have submitted her application 6 days before audition ended.

I think your version is wrong. She wanted the manager position but applied for both when someone told her there is also a vtuber audition going on. This would actually check out with the 6 days before deadline story since she didnt even know an audition exists XD.

Edit 1: However note that the entire manager story is WORD OF MOUTH. I have been looking for evidence of this since writing this post but haven't found any. No clip.
The vtuber wiki linked to a fucking reddit post and the reddit post also have no source for the claim. It could also have been completely fabricated by reddit and then mandela effect into a real thing. Same thing as "coco created HoloEN" shit people were peddling.
