I am not exactly willing to give benefit of the doubt when she has clear hard benefits from being a sickly girl on the internet, and nothing about being a vtuber requires you to actually tell you have it. Fulgur can't sit for more than a couple hours because his back is completely destroyed (and he is a fat fuck) and can't travel as well, this directly makes him unable to do a lot of things. You're talking about Sketchek/Sonny Brisko, right? He faked cancer because he was a retard who wanted to leave the TF2 community in 2015/16, and then came back a few years later in around ~2019 with an ARG. I know this because I was there when it happened (and when Valve added a memorial to him in the description of his favorite/iconic TF2 weapon, which is probably what motivated him to come back and come clean). Then, like three years later, is when he became a VTuber. He did not fake his death to become a VTuber. As far as I recall, Sketchek never once provided any sort of documentation or proof that it was real. It was all vague lipservice, "I don't want to reveal too much about my illness", and him talking all solemnly in videos. Very gay thing to do just because he wanted to stop making TF2 videos, but I digress.

Meanwhile from the few things I've seen, Ironmouse seems to actually go in-depth about what she has, gives off the vibe of being genuienely knowledgable about the subjects, and regularly encourages people to donate plasma. Perhaps she is lying, I have no real stake in this argument, but I haven't yet seen a reason to not give her some benefit of the doubt.
