The reality is almost half of them still do. A few still lead two lives and many of them have a panhandle paywall with varying amounts of effort person-to-person. Cover doesn't seem to care as long as you're hitting some minimum of effort (with that quantity seemingly differing contract to contract but speaking personally thinking of it quarterly seems to account for even the hobbyists and Gura).

Why do HoloJP members always seem to think Calli is cool? Is it just the language barrier? Maybe her model?
She has weird Clamp proportions and her eyes simply don't translate well to 3D, and comes off as an anorexic alien. Kronii is all legs but when they did 3D they tried to fix it somewhat. This wasn't the case for Kaela whose 3D gave her Mickey Mouse arms. It's especially jarring because her whole thing is she should be a bit muscular as she's a blacksmith
