I can't believe how Nerissa's new EP has completely displaced my typical playlists of hard-rocking metal and hard-beepin' electronic music all day today
It helps that it 's primarily synthpop, which I can consume like Nikocado Avocado consumes KFC chicken buckets.

Shatter is the one I've been listening to the most. It's an energetic synthpop romp and Nerissa's vocals are top-notch as expected, though at one point Nerissa starts rapping almost exactly like Taylor Swift in "Shake It Off" about her "haydurs", and the lyrics in general are pretty cringeworthy, but luckily I'm pretty good at tuning out cringe lyrics (I still enjoy Kataklysm after all).
I also like
All My Feelings, it's super catchy and kinda reminds me of Miley Cyrus' recent stuff like "Midnight Sky".
Say My Name has been out for a while already, and it's a solid, catchy jazzy track. I prefer All My Feelings and Shatter since they're more my preferred style of pop music, but this one's good.
Sweetest Scarlet is kinda take-it-or-leave-it; it's not bad, but it's more generic Charli XCX-style pop and after one listen I dropped it.
You may agree or disagree (I'm not Robert Christgau, music is the most subjective medium after all), I'm just expressing my surprise that a vtuber made a song I actually want to listen to end-on-end. The only other vtuber to do this to me was Lui, since most of her songs have a rock edge.
Well done, horny raven.
I'm also glad the rest of my family can't see my Spotify likes, I don't want to explain to them why I've been listening to anime girl music on a loop for the past 24 hours
Edit: Excellent fanart
