It's been done already, just manually. Pretty much anyone who tried doing so, says that if you change thumbnail of the video a couple days later it will get massive boost in views, because due to some fuckery YT will recommend it more aggressively. And you can keep doing this with seemingly no diminishing returns. It's like they designed the whole system to be exploited from the ground up, every time there is some new way to break it

Also was found to have contracts with a ton of "indies" and foreign vtubers, basically telling them they wouldn't get Bilibili payouts unless they sign with him.

I know Sayu really wanted a company, but she's doing a great job as an indie, as far as I can tell. It's seems like a far better idea to wait for an opening somewhere that doesn't sound like a complete scam, while in the mean time foster more connections with other vtubers. It's not like indies are on an island on their own. You don't need a company for regular collabs.
