I am going to say something that's an unpopular opinion, but it's entirely possible that Selen didn't get along with certain people but it wasn't necessarily as straightforward as it seems from the outside, especially if the rrat about livers having to do management things is true. I am more than okay with just saying yatchman bad and cheap and still watching the people I like there.

Yeah Sony released Vee in two modes, one was like a prototype of what they wanted to do, aka Verse then they started to release a bunch of other using the Vee name, the advantage of this approach is that Sony give them a very sweet deal that include a salary and after a while you can keep the model because even they know that having a dead IP that serves no purpose is of no use

Vee exist after all the growth pains of Verse (like for example their 2 Vsingers being released with 3D models but they were so goddamn awful that they had to scrap them and start from scratch)

Another problem they had is that they wer originally 6 members, the last girl was the one people wanted to meet the most because it had the character designer of K on but she never debuted and was memory holed

Another thing, Vee is also one of the few agencies besides Phase connect where poaching is a normal thing, Kujo Ringo for example was on another agency and she ended in VEE after getting poached, Misa and Kohaku (Misa is not that well know but Kohaku is a regular in Apex tournaments and VCR) were indies that also got poached

That being said, I'm not judging you at all.

At the end of the day, talents should not dabble in managerial duties. The fact that the EN branch seems to have been put together so poorly that the talents had to supplement management duties only shows how inept Anycolor seems to be.
Vtubers tend to be menhera or socially inept, so I dunno what they expected.
