The real move is to worm your way into the social circle of one (or more!) of these types trying to weaponize clout and start poisoning the well so they start tearing at each other and the cannibalism turns inwards. They're extremely easy to manipulate with little effort a grand majority of the time, especially if you bear in mind the entire time that no matter how they might seem to be acting towards you they're potentially looking for any crack they can use to try to tear you apart the second you defy their expectations.

Another interesting post from the Spacebattles thread. Apparently Cover has a review on a glassdoor-type site from an alleged former manager complaining about the talents having too much power.

Funny enough I actually discovered a JP version of Glassdoor and one of the negative reviews about Cover comes from a supposed former manager where they complain that talents and senior staff have too much power over regular management.

It's in Japanese so you have to run the posts through a translator. Outside that supposed management post most of the complaints come from new hires who talk about favoritism and overtime but they come off as more whiny newbies who freshly entered the job market and didn't expect working as regular staff for Cover to be that hard or people who didn't even manage to make it past the interview process and are salty they couldn't get in in the first place.

I mean, no shit. As the post says it sounds like new meat that doesn't understand the business. Managers unless they prove to be gold are replaceable at the whims of the talent, the talent is worth more than any manager. However if the talent is rushia then whoever manages to keep her from going nuclear for as long as he did is worth more than a talent but it's rare.
