Yeah, I just wonder what exactly determines whether she does music-related activities as Moon Jelly or as Jelly Hoshiumi. Is it a chuuba vs utaite thing? Meru seems to be going through a menhera episode regarding graduating. This was originally scheduled for the 17th. But after enjoying her last week of not giving a fuck decided to push it back a week to squeeze in some more last minute streams. She then ended up cancelling most of the scheduled streams this week and changed the graduation stream date to 2024. No idea what's going on with her atm.

I think the real difference is that Twitch doesn't have much of an algorithm/unbiased moderators to deal with this. They just push the most watched shit up front because they assume everyone will want to watch it. Youtube is several times much bigger than Twitch and with that they are likely to have the same ethot plague (or at least softcore porn videos uploaded on site). Whereas the YouTube algorithm is what drives the site and if you don't actively try and seek shit like that out, it won't recommend it to you. I don't doubt YouTube has some sort of porn problem as their site is basically entirely run by bots and it isn't that hard for stuff to slip between the cracks with bots. It's just that the algorithm keeps everything mildly decent.

I've stumbled into some extreme coom-bait channels on YT while searching for vtuber pasts. Boobs and ass in the camera, thinly veiled innuendo as the title kind of thing. Without exception they were all extremely low views, like, under 100 video views. There were public videos with 2 to 9 views. My assumption is that YT's algo suppresses that content hard, to the point of keeping it out of the algo entirely. Not sure why shit like naked yoga gets an exception but they definitely have the algo technology to filter properly.
