And in other news, I saw some very minor kerfuffle over nerissa being all lovey-dovey with the 'IRyS-Hating Council Lesbian(male) Twitter Shippers' clique. The only 'drama' I saw from it was a couple people on her 4ch thread saying, "Ew, I hope someone tells her to stay away from that group", but no one actually getting mad at her, which makes me think actual fans instead of concern trolls. It's kinda like how IRyS should have banned Alexander Babski months ago, but at least she's not following him and telling him she loves him (surprisingly he is still active but has not said or done anything extremely weird recently, to my knowledge).

Award shows are pointless outside of being a promotional tool. If they're done by popular vote, it's just a celebration of popular things when you already know what is popular, and even then the people in charge of running such a vote will not allow the "wrong" thing to win (anything that goes against their politics). If an awards show is decided by "experts" (lol), it ends up mired in politics and vote-trading and the experts often don't have that much expertise anyway.
