I don't know if I really believe that. Objectively MGS1 has less mechanics and more simplistic design than 2 and 3 but the tools given in later games to expand the repertoire of the player provides some very strong tools for player success. They may be more complex mechanically but the player also benefits from systemic changes. Being able to properly aim your weapons and eliminate enemies with precision is a significant improvement over blind directional fire, and the AI reactivity to the environment and player is no longer an instant alert in most cases and allows you a brief action window to swing the situation back in your favour before it's called in and the actual alert stage is activated.

Granted, that all benefits from the player being skilled, so when it comes to Calli, 25 hour MGS2 stream incoming. I'm going to take a nap midday so I can actually sit through the whole stream and see if I can complete the entirety of MGS2 before she beats Rex at the end of MGS1.

I wonder if we are ever gonna see other vtubers being committed to their character roleplay as much as Mayuzumi and Izumo Kasumi does, it was super fun when they made elaborate arg and stayed in character on stream with all the added gimmick (I guess Astel does that whenever he's planning something big like during his 3D debut and several of his bday/anniv live but that's it). Most people nowadays just stick their so-called lore in a condensed video and go on with their days as normal streamers

Oh man... well, where to start lol. He hasn't named it specifically, mainly because the doctors don't know what the fuck is happening to him, but he's pretty messed up. He's had multiple surgeries ranging from brain surgery to intestinal surgery where they had to remove some of his intestinal tract because it was too long. He takes a myriad of pills as well, he mentioned at one point having to take more than 10 a day, and is constantly going to the doctors so they can poke him some more. He also said he turned to content creation because his condition wouldn't allow him to have a stable job because there are just some days where the pain is so bad he can't get shit done. I don't like the dude, but I do feel sorry for him and what he has to endure.

Damn, that is rough. As much as I want to just call him a whitebread ass nigga, I'll at least offer my condolences upon learning all this. Maybe because I'm more sappy right now upon hearing about Lisa and Panko's sad moments.

Granted, he still is a whitebread ass nigga, but my condolences on the health issues. I wouldn't wish that on him.

Bro, that hurts to read. Losing a beloved pet is one of the hardest things to go through. I hope she finds some peace at some point during these two weeks. She's always so bright and bubbly, so it's hard to imagine her being in such a rough place. Hopefully she has a good support network of people around her to be there for her.

Funnily enough, MGS1 is unironically bad in retrospect, similarly to how Super Mario 64 is bad, so going backwards to older games even if simplistic is rough as hell if you don't have a history of mastering the games, but at the same time, I have 0 faith in holo girls outside of Korone when it comes to older games, and that's stretching it already. I think the biggest problem she's just not really that much of a gamer, it's like how Pomu got gated by Psycho Mantis and Rex and I have much more faith in her than Calli.
