Ducky really fits right into his vtuber journalist role because like your typical journo, he immediately decides to run defense for the troon.

It will be interesting to see where this goes. I just hope the dramafag doesn't pussy out and put out an apology video.
Khyo seems to be the only dramafag with something of a spine, he stood up to Niji's bullshit when that happened so I give him a 50/50 on crumbling in the face of this other retard wannabe journo.

Disclaimer: I don't know a lick of Japanese, so I am probably the last one to take seriously on that ranking. I didn't follow any strict criteria when selecting who to feature, either. I did follow some broadly general rules tho, rules about clippers I just kinda figured out in over 3 years of watching Vtuber clips and noticing patterns of both good and bad clippers.
  • No or little Clickbait Titles (cant do Youtube by fully avoiding them either, so I am more forgiving on that point)
  • No cropped Porn Thumbnails
  • Clippers who focus on just one or a few Talents usually do it out of passion, not to get rich or fame and put the most care into their Translations as to not misrepresent their Oshi
  • They post TL notes in the end of the clip or in the comments, usually a service for people who want to learn JP using their clips
  • They take criticism of their translations and correct mistakes in a pinned comment or by doing a re-upload
  • Usually, the longer the clip, the more high-effort and more overall care is put into it, so longer = better
A really accurate word for word translation was NOT my most important criteria here. As long as I get the gist of the moment of topic the talent is talking about, the most important criteria is fulfilled. I also didn't look out for fancy editing or anything of the like, because to me, ANY TRANSLATION IS HIGH EFFORT. I am just grateful people are doing that service for free at all. My criteria are obviously different in regard to EN clippers. But I will do a separate post about them later.
Some further explanations to make reading this long ass post easier:
I always put a little note under the channel links that explains;
Average length of the clips on the channel:

  • Short = less than 2 Minutes
  • Mid-length = From 2 Minutes to 10 Minutes
  • Long = Over 10 Minutes (yeah, for a Vtuber clip that is long already these days)
I also who the clipper focuses on (if applicable) as well as sometimes some other information, such as upload frequency ( I was very generous here, any upload in the past 3 months counts as ACTIVE, longer than 3 months but less than 1 year ago is RARE UPLOADS and if the last upload was more than a year ago, I moved the channel to the INACTIVE section.

I noticed that I was still subscribed to a lot of dead clippers that I collected over the past few years. Even if they mostly quietly vanished from the scene, the work they left is still good. I also think that it might be beneficial to someone to know if one of these clippers is good (enough) when looking up old clips or moments from a certain talent.

ps: this took so, so much longer than anticipated, but I will do a Part 2 with EN and ID clippers

So far all 3 of the CouncilRyS 3d's have been expertly crafted for the talents. IRyS squeezed in something like 9 songs, Kronii basically did a sketch comedy show where she got to play a bunch of different characters, and Fauna was probably closest to the typical '3d showcase formula', but the vibe of her whole stream was very on-brand/comfy. They're setting a pretty high bar for next week (and if Mumei reads this sentence she will become a nervous wreck).

I wish Chammers wasn't on hiatus because she'd be great in the Moom showcase. I hope Mumei's is fun, I wonder how much she will lean into the horror. Hers will probably be the biggest showcase so can't wait to see it.

Lui gonna beat the final boss tonight. I assume next episode will deal with Part 6

I think JShay is worth adding, too. He focuses on mainly Korone clips and fits all those categories, as far as I can tell.

Yura, as well, who does mainly Ui clips.

I'm just worried no one will be around to pick up the slack in my absence. I thought I had a good setup for someone to make a joke off of yesterday, but no one took the bait, so I had to do it myself (click the period at the end).
so your gonna pull a jamby get bored after like an hour and rationalize that your depriving yourself of amusement with no real gain and immediately shit out ... let's say 4 more Gura stream jokes I look forward to it.

Context is for the weak if you know you know.

Be aware there's some Squirrel shaving freak on the loose

no that's a thing. You catch the squirrel and inoculate it and release it. Shaving the back is just to get the needle in easier. it's to prevent/fight rabies and other dieases it will go back home breed and spread the immunity (with luck).

Can't dox the new wave if i do it first *taps 5head*:fishfry:
A chuuba should never be able to enjoy her life outside of streaming. And if she does, clearly she is just milking her fans for their money. In fact, i believe chuuba should be put in cages whenever they are not streaming. Heck if they become irrelevant just do some cockfights between them.
your ploy to bring back pay per view topless wrestling is a noble one but flawed.

this specifically makes me think she got stuck in some town outside Vancouver

as a Canadian. Head to Vancouver they will welcome you with a fucking trauma blanket hot coco and a lift to the nearest good hotel.

Great stuff. I was thinking of doing something similar but this is more concise than I ever would have been :shubaIapprob:

Off the top of my head, here's some others to add if you want to:

Major Arcana is a Mio-only clipper. He does mid-length clips and is very consistent with uploads:

HoloLover does all HoloJP. Mid-sized clips and he translates to both English and Indonesian. Minimal editing with cute sound effects.

HoloMaster does all HoloJP and mid-sized clips. Puts a lot of effort into his editing.

Yuna is a Suisei-only clipper. Usually mid-sized clips but infrequent uploads:
