Is that not obvious enough? They originally rebranded NijiIN to NijiEN, and then proceed to do nothing with it. Few months after HoloEN came into the market with huge success, they suddenly backpedaled and reverted them back to NijiIN, right before announcing an audition for a "proper" NijiEN.

I'm sure it's likely most of the people commenting in-game there are her fans (and obviously Clio is there), but her reaction is great. She's also trolled like this before in the past in online games and finds great amusement in doing so. Even funnier this is a sponsored stream, and this also isn't the first time she's done shit like this in a sponsored stream for an online game.

The more I think about it the more Nijisanji saying truth about why the sales are down is worse than lying and trying to cover up the real issue. You launch overseas branch with people who speak in english, yet their JP audience was apparently so massive that them losing interest immediately resulted in a large drop in revenue. Even if you assume that all of them already left, this is at least 16% of audience being JP. And if they are only starting to leave it would make the number even bigger. Meaning, your overseas talents have little to no foreign fans willing to spend money on it. And their solution to this, instead of increasing customer base by organizing events, doing promotions, participating in collaborations with brands and whatnot is... to release more members and cut costs. Unless Riku's master plan is to pawn off the company to the highest bidder in 2-3 years I don't understand what they are trying to achieve with it. And that's a really shitty assumption
My favorite part was seeing the revenue contribution by debut year. Their recent talents have had no impact while they just lost 2 big talents. The quarterly report that comes next should be absent of Mysta, except for his grad stream to prop up revenue somewhat. It's going to be rough.

At first asked chat how long to finish reading Eden Treaty 1 and consensus was around four hours judging by her previous streams. Decided to finish after 10 stories after the input from chat (part 9 including the prologue, this is key for later).
