I dont think it could be esports. Lets say they make a pro team for LoL. The team ends up qualifying for worlds. How are they gonna attend the LAN in person without breaking the whole purpose of vtubers?

Edit : also with the states of esport in general. They would just be losing money. A lot of orgs retired from esports in the recent years. So it would be one of the worst move hololive could make

you don't have to be professional to play an Esport. you just need a team and the game. There are plenty of teams in leauge that rival the pros who just do it for fun. hell I played against Faker once (leagues "best" player.) and i'm nowhere near his rank in any mode.

But Reddit in the last 2-3 years has overmoderated and cracked down on "bad think" so hard that it basically just Free Something Awful at this point. And because the demographics most likely skew much younger on Leddit, I can at least know the people giving me shit advice on SA have at least SOME life experience. Though honestly, it's a toss up.

I have yet to see Cover release a new Holostars branch before they release a Hololive one, I doubt they’ll change that now. Ayame soon to be in shambles regardless.

Doesn't this call into question how Yuri "lost" her IP/model? Does Pippa not know what she's talking about? Is she making a joke? Have the rules changed for new invaders? Did Yuri purposefully discard her old persona to make PhaseConnect look bad while rebranding? I recall some tweets from others, aimed at PC/Sakana, asking to give her model back.
