I few months ago i would have dissagree with you but after Brave bought Idol i cant shake the felling that the ES community is in second place regarding that corpo interests.

99% that rrat is true.

And the thing is there is a degrees to that:

Why Taiga makes her schedules on english when she streams in spanish? Why so many english tweets? The same question to the rest of the girls who also does the same.

2 of 4 girls in IdolES use live translators so their english fan can understand them and Ruby use a lot of english, even to speak to the english followers that she got and clearly she use a lot of time of streams talking in that language. I dont see Kai Saikota, who is latina, give this types of courtesy to her followers of Latam.

All Ruby solo collabs to this date with vtuber outside of Brave had been in english. The only non idol girl that she had collabed in spanish was Reina Ronronea and that happened in a multicollab with Taiga and Lala.

Koa moslty streams in spanish but does "only english" streams at least once a week. Like i said Kai doest do such courtesies to her Latam followers.

And Lala, she only know very basic english but the poor girl is trying so bad to learn it, and the way she made so much efforts to learn the language kind of gives me the felling that she is being presured to it.

Which makes it kind of funny that besides collabs with IdolES Lala has only collabed with other girls of Idol (and Reina Ronronea, but she is from Brave anyways) surviving with her basic english.

And with that we arrive to the final problem. Which is the lack of interactions of Koa, Ruby and Lala with ES vtubers and the Latam community.

Taiga in that regard is my favorite member because actually interacts with indie ES vtubers. Like she did today



What about Meica?

She leaving Idol kind of made me start thinking about that. She had personal motives but i also think her profile wasnt something Brave wanted.

Because she is the opposite of all of this problems. She is after all one of most popular vtubers of the ES scene and Latam. She really doest give a fuck about the EN community and constantly interacts with the indie vtubers of the scene.

Even after joining Idol she acted like an indie and was the actual member of Idol ES who was ball deep in the ES scene. Made sense why she was hired in Idol ES to begin with, to be the gateway of the latinos into Vtuber Israel.

But Brave bought Idol and now she is leaving. With the rest of the girl doing this actions interacting with the EN audiences and vtubers, i can made the rrat that Brave sees Idol ES as token member that an actual part of their plans, after all they intested in the EN audiences. Meica would have been a problem in that regard because she is an actual member of the latino vtuner commumity who is not interesed in EN things.

Add how the ES community is suspicious of corpo post-wactor and owozu and well...my only hope is that Idol ES doesnt end like Nijisanji ID

One can only hope.

If you aren't massive, it makes sense to do partial EN content to target as many people as possible. Hell, in a way I would say that Hololive ID had this same problem. had they stayed strictly ID they would have probably struggled way more.

For those who watch v-dere, how are they doing? These are expensive outfits. I watched some of their streams and they are all really good. I would watch them more but I am already failing to watch even my memberships.

They are doing fairly well. Spica & Airi are still students so are only streaming part time. I only member to Mozzu so i'm not sure if the other girls have brought up finances but Mozzu has mentioned that even with lower sub/membership/dono numbers she is better off than in the Kawaii days. She also mentioned that the last year was the first year she had made a profit from Vtubing.

The V-Dere girls are certainly making bank especially Elia. Here's their superchat earnings:
