Can't believe I have to defend Rie. The difference between the release of covers and shit is because Rie can do some of the work herself just like jelly. Fishman said and I think lumi said it too that they all get a budget for music they're free to use, some talents don't touch it.
Lumi has that many models because she funds them and her artists are professionals that seem to know what a deadline is.
What it is a bit of a dick move is the fact that the gen1 jp girls don't seem to get involved in con events that much, either because of the language barrier or because they don't really want to. From what some girls said they don't really force people to participate on things, they ask who is interested and they go from there. There's also the fact that only like 5 of them do this fulltime, the rest work or are going to school. I don't think there's favoritism per se, it's more like who's available to do x and who has enough pull for y.

I've been watching a lot more Limes lately, few chuubas have such a big streamer "It Factor", it's hard to explain but she's just so good at keeping you entertained with whatever the hell she's doing.

And her model definitely helps with that. Between hers and Doki's, is Cillia the best rigger in the scene right now? She's putting big corpo rigging to shame for sure, it's insane that the Holo 3.0s are still using mood toggles in 2024 when such a degree of direct expression tracking is possible. Not to mention the girls that still move like they have a steel bar where their spine should be.

I'm entirely convinced she missed being on stage as much or more than everyone missed seeing her up there. Just straight good music with good singers and a damn good guest list. As much as the situation leading to it was scary, I'm glad she's more confident in herself and her worth now.

What really surprised me was the choreography. Mio is one of the more chill dancers but she pushed herself for this live and was much more active than usual. It was blessed to see and must have been tough considering she was likely rehearsing soon after she got out of the hospital.
