It's a little difficult to talk about cause you'd think stuff that happens inside the company shouldn't matter to us as fans, but the fact that it's getting bigger means it has more of a weight to carry. Mostly the studio, shitting out talents is actually really cheap, as many smaller corpos have proven, specially if you don't overspend on insane models. Holo just does it less because at their size each new gen becomes gradually less profitable compared to costs and it divides the audience.
Also take into account the Yagoo still owns a third of the stock and the company still owns 50% (of the public stocks mind you), the next biggest holder is Ikko at 4% and then everyone else owns insignificant fractions. This whole thing is nothing more than a bunch of discords and antagonistic groups of people conspiring to brew up drama out of gura bitching once and aqua graduating, which will be brought back up again in a few months/a year when there's more drama or another graduation as "LE PROOF!"
They needed the money for the studio, but, during that period, the simple number of members is now enough that you can't know everyone in the company. Public facing or back office. New opportunities but it comes with the "faceless corporation" issue.
