Bro, you can spin it how you want, but the Overwatch event was fucking terrible, no ifs ands or buts about it. No one wanted to even play in it so they had to scrape the bottom of the barrel to get Chloe, Lui, and IRyS, none of whom really play FPS and put them up against a team with fucking Astel at a time where they were all infinitely busy with their own shit. Even if you remove Unicorns from the equation, it was utter shit and killed itself thanks to that.

Because it had people there that actually played competitive games and wanted to be there and had balanced teams. The fact that only one of the girls in the original group from Valorant wanted to participate shows how pointless it was. If the whole point of the thing was to take shitty sponsorships and play bad games, it is better off dead.

IRyS isn't what you'd call good, but she's far from the worst FPS player in the company, she played apex a bit early on and wasn't completely awful....
The problem wasn't so much that people were bad, it was that everyone looks downright awful next to Astel and the boys who know each other better and had time to be able to practice than the random hodgepodge that was the girls' team and their single practice session.

Can confirm. In SC2 nearly all GML are male and most accomplished 'female' GML is a tranny (thankfully normal one, not vermin). All progamer girls are low GML at best and never get anywhere close to finals. All casual girls are sitting firmly in top diamond/low ML if they play every day, top gold/low diamond if not.
