It's often not "want" but rather "are contractually obliged". Frankly the whole Selen incident shows how important it is to have your PL widely known; at this point it's honestly a safety issue if you don't.
Filain has actual ADD, in the classical sense. Which is why VR tracking works perfect for her. It's oddly one of the best uses of the tech because she can make a living and not have her issues ruin her life.
