What where we talking about again?

Lore is cool when you can actually immerse yourself in suspension of disbelief and it's actually a well crafted world by a competent writer and worldbuilder. Most vtubers' only experience writing was papers in school and fanfiction in AO3, so their lore is usually cringe and edgy as fuck, it's also hard to get immersed in it when the subject of said lore is a dime-a-dozen coombaiter tittymonster that talks about skibbidy toilet.

Giving your D&D character a backstory longer than a sentence or two is a waste of everybody's time. I don't want to hear poorly written fiction; I just want to play the game.

When you get to level two, the stuff you did at level one to get there is your backstory.
