Looking into it, a 32 strong Thai agency with incredibly edgy gen names (Apocalypse, Eclipse, Ominous...). Top talent is male and routinely does upwards of 50 k VOD views.
Seems to stream more or less entirely in Thai.
Apparently the biggest or second biggest vtuber corp outside Japan is Thai.

Algortythm project has a page on wiki They are a thai agency and have a lot of talents. The gen Dacapo is in is really successful for whatever reason. At the end of their debut month, they were all over 100k, which Dacapo reached in 18 days.
The Box doesn't have a wiki page, but they have 2 talents. Lily Linglan has 165k and Margaret North has nearly 84k subs. It seems they might be 2 of the 3 talents graduated from Taiwanese Cloud Horizon last year.

It's largely because Thai is the middle ground of SEA; Indo has HoloID and a few smaller things here and there (used to have Niji) and Malaysia has agencies but doesn't have the supportive culture every other region has, so Thai ended up falling in place of being kind of their own thing, with supportive fans and likely have ID crossover of the community.
This was the guy who was clowned on by normie twitter and tik tok for holding a rudimentary concert at a con iirc (i.e his Live2d model only instead of a fancy 3d performance)
The game of broken telephone was so extensive that tardlet normies and even some Indie EN Vtubers were saying it was an expensive ticket, when at best it was 9 USD (for the full con mind you, concert was free once in) in Thai currency and free admission if you went in cosplay according to some tweets i read

I'd say that Thailand actually got it a bit easier in terms of vtubing because they are already ESL or even fluent in english, meaning that they can somewhat easily jump into vtubing in the EN sector without needing to say, inside a Thai-focused agency first hand.
Also Thai weeb scene is admittedly a bit larger than ID weeb scene, so you probably can see why Thai vtubing market is a bit more powerful compared to ID.
I was pleasantly surprise with these guys. I don't watch Holostars JP because I don't know Japanese, but I watched the countdown and they are really good! I found it better that the girls one. I guess I'm inspired again in my journey learning the language so I can watch them better. I hope they have more of a "boys being boys" vibe than Holostars EN because those disappointed me

I tried really hard to like them, at first it was good but after a while I found them to have even more immature and weird humor and ambience than the talent freedom girls (less porn at least). And I feel like entering a minefield now after the Magni and Vesper thing and then the fucking Ruze disaster. The JP guys make me feel less afraid of falling in with people who will start posting "haters gonna hate" on Twitter, maybe it's the language barrier working its magic but I hope is not.

The Box are three TW indies who banded together after leaving their old agency Cloud Horizon with their IP but not their channels. Lily Linglan the best known among them, the other two are Margaret North and Shibasaki Fuune.
Earendel, Mochi Komane, Annin Miru are TW also I think? They use trad chinese anyway.

What a way to start the year. A VTuber likely killed themselves after being exposed for a whole list of things. A lot of context is lacking since the person this VTuber was quoting has now deleted the posts back from early December that provided additional info.
Maybe she's not still a part. I was just going by their debut trailer.
