It's real, both of those discount codes work on his site. It's either him or his son running the twitter but either way, it's legit and affiliated with him.
The funny thing is that he's not a complete fraud apparently. While his King Kong scores may be debatable, he legitimately was the first person to get a perfect score on Pac-Man.
