I wanted to write something up about it today, but you already caught most of it.
One thing you didn't cover is that those fans from China propagated a clip which made it seem like ririmu was upset about what happened by splicing the interaction with an occasion where she was crying (out of joy) later in the stream because her Heli flying skills were complimented. That already made me lose sympathy with whatever cause those fans claimed to represent.
But even without that, the whole thing feels manufactured. It's a fucking RP server for gods sake, people are playing a character and may sometimes stray over the lines because of it. Everybody understands the scenario, everybody is fine with it, nobody was hurt.
It's Anycolor financial results day! Supplemental notices first:
Notice Regarding Dividend from Retained Earnings
As announced previously, Anycolor paid out another dividend with the end of the fiscal year. Later in the financial presentation, they predict to up the dividend amount for the next fiscal year to 70 yen per share, up from 65 yen per share this year.

This one's a bit odd, because they admit halfway through the document that there is no actual change. They're just recommitting to the policy they previously already adopted.

Nothing major, the outside director changed. Seems like a capable woman.
Now for the actual financials:
Boring, drab, colourless sheets and charts

Bottom line is that they met and exceeded all their goals. Quarter 4 revenue went up 60% YoY, mainly carried by commerce but all other areas also saw growth.
Full year revenue went up 34% YoY, profit 31.7%. Forecasts for fiscal year 2026 see a more modest 14-19% increase in revenue.
Number of VTubers is surprisingly stagnant, only growing by net 12 over the year, but the number of employees is steadily growing with 78 net new employees in the same timeframe.
I guess this is also the time where I can post that Anycolor stock has crossed the 4000 yen mark again, way surpassing the price they had before the Selen termination and reaching the highest point since December of 2022.
Remains to be seen how the price develops with this financial result. Cover's price slumped when they released a result for the last few times, no matter how good it was.
