Hello /vt/ users!
You're probably here because your homeland has rewarded your loyalty by leaking all your IPs and proving to have been a fed honeypot. If you intend to join here, be aware that our rules are not shibboleths and will be enforced equally. You will not be allowed to spread lies about your business rivals or be able to make inconvenient information disappear by sending nudes to a moderator. Adapt or die. Thank you!
>"Hmm there seems to be a lot of vtuber happenings lately, I should see what's going on" >Open twitter >Immediately flashbanged by NBinted bitching about Kirsche and trying to get her sponsors taken away for the 40th time over some nothingburger edgy joke Njisanji shutting down literally...
I mean, I dislike Nerissa as much as the next person but Nerissa has never shown her face, some VA called Caitlyn has. Mori has never shown her face, some rapper called Karen has. In Amalees case, there's not distinction between Monarch and her which is where the sentiment that she should no longer be considered an "actual" vtuber comes from I'm guessing.
Figaro is celebrating her fifth year.
She will be leaving Soda Kit next month and return as indie.
Re:AcT's Layla Sama will be singing at 10PM JST.
Looks like she unlocked monetisation.
After some departures the past year, 774inc will be having three new debuts on 27 April.
One of them Amatsuna Sasaha is an indie who debuted in May 2023 and joined the company.
Kasukane Shino seems to have an original song ready.
Uruwashi Ririri is the gamer of this batch, plays Valorant and SF6 (Gouki)
Looks like there was a Marvel Rivals CR Cup and VSpo's Kuromu Yano was there.
Okay so they found it out by....Shondo naming all of them by their real name including herself and her brother.
She also conveniently even put her city online on paypal.
It's honestly amazing that she hasn't gotten doxxed until now.
This is one of the worst opSec ever ngl.
Johnny Depp is Captain Jack Sparrow. For all intents and purposes he IS the IP but the character is not his. I dont think companies benefit from giving away the IP unless the company is going under. Corpos also need to have some sort of control over their talents and owning the IP is the main one. Why would any talent give a shit about following the rules if they own their IP and can do whatever the fuck they want?
The small difference is, no one can prohibit him taking credit for playing Jack Sparrow. NDA is where real power disbalance is, even though this clause likely won't stand in court. Thankfully, at least jap legal system is in a process of fixing it.
How does that translate into any incentive to be honest with you, though? What about that fact makes them any less likely to just lie when it's convenient or when they're told to?

If were actually discussing this seriously why should she hide her face pretty sure shes been using her channel and publicly available information to grow her profile so she gets more VA jobs.
Feels like terrible opsec but meh it seems to have worked.
So if I tell you Kirsche is, in fact, not fat, dyed her hair blonde and has three kids, and insist you just take my word for it, that everything you know about her is a lie, and she's funded by USAID.
Are you more inclined to believe me, who doesn't watch her, follow her, or even know her as an acquaintance, or Kirsche herself?
At this point in some western countries they already have more rights than real people and keep demanding more. It's really all about trans privilege and like Thomas Sowell said regarding people screaming about affirmative action getting struck down "when you're used to privilege suddenly having equal rights again feels like oppression."
Just the sheer contrast between her real self and avatar is killing me because you can tell she's trying to look like her vtuber model but not enough to put down the damn fork
You're right, she could pull it off much closer if she lost at least twenty pounds. In most people the face is the first thing that slims down though I've seen a few unlucky girls who just had big heads apparently and ended up with what I call "the lollipop build".

In western VTubing there's quite a number of face streamers who adopted a VTuber avatar based on themselves and don't even hide their old videos with their real face. Avatars aren't just for protecting identity, they also have the convenience of not having to bother getting dressed and doing hair and makeup before streaming plus with enough toggles they can change appearance on a whim, people keep leaving out that aspect of it when someone asks "why use an avatar?"
How does that translate into any incentive to be honest with you, though? What about that fact makes them any less likely to just lie when it's convenient or when they're told to?
Who hurt you so bad you can't give people even a little trust. The talents are witness to the best and worst of the Corpo I'm inclined to trust them unless they give me reason to doubt there are a million minor factors that go into determining if they might be willing to lie but in general people don't lie without reason it's just how people are.
Your more likely to find someone misinformed then a genuine liar.
