He should've moved the business out of Canada a long time ago anyway, the merch delays boiling down to "blame Canada" are much less understandable when there's a clear solution to the problem.

We don't know Sakana's persona circumstances, there could be reasons that he's stuck where he currently is in Canada, such as his or his wife's family circumstances. There's also a pretty long wait list to legally immigrate to the USA, which you would have to do to properly run and operate a business there.
