I think they are being stupid, honestly. They could play anonymously from the venue, just like some vtubers did in person 3D lives. In the worst case they could play from a Hotel/netcafe right by TwitchCon, just take the time to set it up properly. They could even have the "physical presence" of a cosplayer there with an unplugged controller just like we used to do to our little siblings to not make it weird to have only one player on stage.
I don't get throwing out this kind of opportunity and hype.

Not familiar at all with that talent but I liked it. It did sound like her voice was overly tweaked at times though - not sure if that's just her normal voice.

Maybe Hololive got an unlimited license for their talents to make covers of this song so they're squeezing it for all it's worth or something? I'm guessing they did the same for King and Kyoufuu All-Back a while back too.

You assume they have money and time to travel.
But i agree that it's absolutely dumb and Sajam takes big L as organizer here.

Sajam pointed out in the past that these events come out of his pocket. I don't think he would be a miser at this point, he got a small fortune to use.

I think she kind of needed to do one, but a couple more popping up probably means the original Label & Cover has some new deals in place as of early this year. Aside from when a song is super trendy and everyone rushes to spam out a cover, there is something of a trend in Cover where one member does a song, others get interested in it and then suddenly a bunch of covers drop. That seems to be the normal way these things go there.

Botan confirmed earlier that the Shishiro Cup, her Street Fighter 6 tournament that she hosted back in March, will be happening again in October!

The 2nd Shishiro Cup will have a similar format to the 1st one with some changes. Here's a post explaining the first tournament's rules.

Will be split across 2 days: Sunday, October 13th and Monday, October 14th.
There will be 4 brackets this time: Intermediate, Advanced, Super Advanced and a special Exhibition bracket. (Beginner's from last time has been removed).
Like last time, there will be 8 slots in each bracket. There will be 4 pre-invited players and 4 open slots. Players can apply through this form here and will be selected on stream. The deadline is on September 24th.
It is required to have streamed SF6 before, be available to stream on event day and have 1000 subscribers minimum.
Rank to qualify for each bracket: Intermediate: Platinum to Diamond. Advanced: Master Rank up to 1799MR. Super Advanced: Anyone 1800MR and up (Unlike last time, Legend rank and pro competitive players can apply as well)
The Exhibition matches will be the Electric Current Death Matches that Oga hosted earlier today. Teams will be fighting against each other while their coaches are strapped to an electric current device. Every time a player loses, the coach of that team will get shocked. Current coaches confirmed are Haitani, top Chun-li player and Acqua, one of Botan's longtime coaches/friends.
Botan herself will likely be participating in this one and might lose intentionally so she can laugh at Acqua getting shocked.
October 13th will have the Intermediate and Exhibition matches. October 14th will have the Advanced and Super Advanced matches.
Players will be announced in a future stream

I appreciate Hag Lion using her reach to do something cool for the SF scene again. The first one was a huge success that introduced a lot of vtuber fans to fighting games, so I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how this one goes.

I hope so. Their debut promo outfits are peak and I think everyone loved them. Honestly, the idea of talents getting matching 3D outfits based on their gen is pretty appealing to me.

Imo for you and me we look at finana and 99% of the vtubers having shit ccv and think it is the norm and dokibird being high 4k avg ccv being one of the biggest streamer.

But to Sajam, she is just one of many he knows. Most of his friends/contestants are even at well above the 10k ccv mark.

He even stated back then he wouldn't mind kicking doki if nijisanji wanted him to do it
(His original plan was for doki in 1 event and vivi in another, rotating) and he got applauded for it.

I have news for you. The average twitch streamers doesn't care about vtuber or the incredibly niche vtubers fans who will not follow them no matter how many collabs they do. If you ask most of ironmouse's close friend in OTK to name a single vshojo vtuber, they will start naming filian and noone else
