While I dont really give a shit about "dishonesty". This is a complete dogshit take. The entire vtubing industry is built on people caring about the person behind the avatar and not just the character. Did you perhaps work for gamebu?

Zentreya represent the worst part of vtubing. The person behind the vtuber could be replaced tomorrow and noone would know. In fact one of the popular rrat was that zentreya was already replaced. The zentreya's model was initially run by his ex-girlfriend. They broke up, the girlfriend left and he continued on the "kayfabe"/grifting.

For whatever reason you may ascribe, male vtubers are nowhere near as popular as females, so he used the voice changer (plus the bustiest coombait model imaginable, that's a common form of overcompensation these skinwalkers like to use; see Marina as an example) to get ahead. If he drops it now, he's admitting his entire identity is based on a lie, and it'll probably piss off a lot of people who, unicorn or not, donated to Zen under the impression that he was a woman. That's a huge risk that may or may not tank him, or at least cripple him, so why the hell would he stop now?

It's kind of a shame, because even in the remote chance Zen is actually a woman, there's no fucking way to prove that now. She could boot up stream tomorrow, turn on that facecam, even pull her tits out if she wanted, but people would call her a paid actress. It'd be an incredibly uphill battle to prove her femininity. Fortunately that will never come to pass, because Zen is obviously a dude even if this video is fake, I just wish he'd stop lying to people and own it.

On the other hand, I don't think this yab will affect him much, the average vshojo/twitch viewers/zentreya's goon cave dweller does not frequent /vt/ or varis. The best thing zen can do is just ignore this drama and his viewers would happily fap to his content in ignorance, thinking they are fapping to a female teacher?. Same way the "ancient proof" was ignored.
The worst thing he can do is addressing this shit and give legitimacy to it. "Proving her feminity" is a really bad move. You just need your own fanbase to believe you are a female. Not the haters or the dramafaggots like us.

Hell he's probably sucking up to Legal Mindset and giving him this free content specifically to avoid getting the same scrutiny Niji, V&U, AkioAIR etc. have got from his audience, basically trollshielding himself since the Riro termination in particular was excellent tabloid drama LM would rip into otherwise.

I have no strong feelings either way on LM, even if I don't care for the normies he brings in or the way he handled the Megumi/AkioAIR stuff, he's just a guy feeding content to a receptive audience like so many others have beforehand. It's Aviel who's coming off as a slimy opportunist with this.
