A few interesting details - She was very much "center" material (i.e. better than everybody else) back when she was an idol in the group "Mosuri". Had a very projected voice, but one that peopled liked cuz it was unpolished. She stated she had joint issues that caused her to have issues dancing (maybe that's why she ended up sticking to singing and eventually being a Vtuber)? She also apparently berated one of the members of her group on twitter. After that, she struck out on her own to try to be a solo idol. Below is a bunch of videos from her youtube channel.
In February of 2021, she apparently opened a "#sexy" channel on her Patreon's discord. Not much there beyond a webm posted.
In March of 2021, it seems like she tried her first foray into the world of vtubing as "Linya".
Apparently she auditioned to be the Vsinger in Hololive (lol). Around the time she got a notification about it she privated all her socials and cleared out her Youtube. The remnants are the few videos I've shared here which are all simply private.
However, it turns out the reason that she cleared out her socials was actually because she got onto Big Brother. Cue screeching from jealous bitches.
Rumours went around at one point regarding who she was in a relationship with - apparently she was a regular member of "Cafe Peko Peko", a "convention based maid cafe". One of the leaders (a girl) may have been in a relationship with her around the time she was in Big Brother.
After her appearance on Big Brother, she started simply going by "Sarah Beth" as opposed to her keyfabe name as Calina on her socials and everything. That seems to be about it as far as information on /cgl/ is concerned. Last pic in the spoiler is a pic of her stream from that time.

Earlier on stream, Shiina said Rei and Remi have the highest female viewership in Phase (this tracks, doesn't it @superduper ?) and, as you know, Tenma, Pippa, and Airi have the lowest. 14% of Rie's viewers are ladies. Apparently Remi activates baby mode in a lot of women. Just thought I'd throw this out there.

I had a feeling her career was something steeped in science based on how she'd talked in a few streams, and the fact she seems to have a standard 9-5, so this isn't exactly shocking.
Considering how much Forensic Scientists typically make, I think Phase is basically a side deal for her. Considering her wider presence too being on National Television, in this case it was basically near impossible so better to just embrace it. Runie seems the type to "Water off a Duck's back" this too. I doubt it's gonna affect her too much.

IIRC he was part of VCR GTA back when that was happening. He's a younger player (like 25 or 26) who hasn't been around as long as the legends but he's still amazing. He became pro in SF5/DBFZ and has kept solid momentum in SF6. He's also currently the #1 ranked Ed (the character Towa's playing) so he's the best choice to help her out. God knows she needs it.
This was from yesterday. She was clearly on the verge of tears by the end of it:
Today was a little better. She made decent progress in basic movement and neutral stuff and it helped a lot to have someone to give her direction and joke around with. But she was still pretty frustrated and admitted to crying again at the end. Iirc, she's the only true beginner besides Dtto and Aki in her cup so she's nervous about basically everything. Doesn't help that Ed is a new character and kinda difficult for new players.
I was happy when Towa was announced for the tournament but admittedly questioned it a bit. We talked about how mentally taxing fighting games are and Towa is known for her menhera breakdowns and delicate mindset. But she's determined to do it so I'll be rooting for her the same way I would Botan. Her main goals are to get everyone hype, look cool for her fans, make them proud of her and get at least one win, preferably by defeating Aki. If even one person gets inspired to try out the game cause they watched her play, she'd be very happy.
TLDR Towa is doing her best and you should cheer for her during the tournament in 10 days.

I've only ever seen one asian with a convincing southern accent (not a fake hollywood one) and you can still hear a bit of an oriental twist when he speaks.
