Yeah, real shame. Hololive hasn't been the same since they opened the floodgates to the damn Chinese menace. I think I'm done with them. Moving on to that new and upcoming Phase Connect group that surely won't bow to the Chinese...

They way they completely ignore hype is very weird. Last year they gave all of their talents a 3D model (the same ones they use for their 3D video series, but set up for streaming) without any sort of hype or fanfare.
Just dropped them all with a single tweet like it was nothing and let them do whatever they wanted with them.
It doesn't seem like it, but some of them actually seem to make fairly decent money for a small corpo. I think all of them seem to get at least a thousand (I did a quick check of a few random streams and highest i saw was $6k) during their birthday streams, which isn't a lot but it's way more than failed corpos tend to get across all their talents.
Reminder that youtube takes 30% cut and then the corpor takes a 50% of the remaining 70% (35%). This is my issue with these small corpos. They do NOTHING to promote their talents once debut is over. These were birthday donothon, so I assume those were streamlab only. But I agree small corpo vtubers really get robbed with the double cut for how little they make.

When clearing the Northern Ruins and getting the black boxes in general, she opened them in 600AD, moved to 1000AD and in the empty rooms simply said "hmm, there's nothing here". She saved Lara though (Koyori failed the first time and restarted).
