How are idol fans more of a "core audience" than streamer fans? (not even taking into account that in the japanese side both agencies have massive fan overlap) It's just fucking pieces of paper which are cheap as balls to make and incentivize impulse bulk buying and collecting. People have made cards out of everything and anything under the sun.

more like Nijisanji fans can't afford shiny pieces of cardboard considering they only had 1 collaboration with Wixoss (Duel Masters collab is too new to say) while Hololive has revived a failing TCG by itself (Rebirth for you), 3 sets for Weiss, and even more upcoming

Sure there is a huge overlap/Niji still have holo-adjacent streamers with higher neckbeards rate like Hoshikawa, Shina Yuika, Ars Almal, etc. I guess it would be extremely awkward if you release an "Nijisanji TCG set" that is just consist of 10 female streamers out of 159 Nijisanji members. Doing the reverse and have single streamer collabs like this is the better move. Riverbear stopped baiting and making good observations today.
