🎊Check out the new Kamioshi Shrine thread! Shill YOUR kamioshi here! Win prizes!🎊
April is just around the corner, and I'd like to use this time to remind users to donate in support of the site. I am looking into purchasing more add-ons to streamline and enhance user experience, and I am also going to hire another VPS for additional backup space and other important purposes in April.
In addition: I am looking for users who would be interested in becoming Orderlies for the new vtuber threads. Responsibilities would include highlighting and properly collating information in each thread, and also maintaining the announcement widgets for each thread. Knowledge of basic HTML and CSS (very easily learned) essential. DM me your interest.
Finally, I'm looking for anyone with intermediate to advanced HTML/CSS/PHP knowledge to continue work on the forum styles. I am willing to pay for this service, but if I do, I expect commitment and results within a reasonable timeframe. DM me any offers. Thank you.
I still feel kind of bad for Rosemi that she never regained her 500k subs after the whole Niji EN shitstorm happened. She was so happy about it, but Niji EN had to fuck it all up, and she still hasn't recovered to this day. She's pretty much the only Niji EN member I actually watch, and she really deserves some happiness for all her efforts over the years.
All this shows is that Niji's only mistake was rushing a wave so soon after Selen. If they had waited a few months more, they probably would have gotten decent numbers.
Even if these guys end up with "only" 1k ccv after a few weeks, that's still way over the current branch average. Right now there's 3 livers streaming, 2 are at 300 and one almost 1k. They're probably going to overtake everyone but the top 5 in earnings as well once they get monetized.
They didnt rush much after Selen. Only the Twisty wave which had probably already signed contract and I assume they held them off due to the Selen shit. Holding them off for longer would've been extremely shitty on their part as they had already graduated and Niji doesnt pay a salary. Imagine being left in limbo for over 5 or 6 months because the corporation fucked up with one of its talents.
Ever since Iluna they had been bleeding support. Had they kept their waves to 3 people they probably wouldnt have oversaturated their EN branch. This is probably why I assume that they went back to their 3 person wave model shortly after. They probably realized that they were necroing their own talents.
Introducing Grand Archive TCG’s exciting collaboration with NIJISANJI, a VTuber project operated by ANYCOLOR Inc., featuring their talented VTuber, Hoshikawa Sara!
www.gatcg.com
Sara is random choice, but I personally don't know if she is a big TCG fan or not
He didn't play any of his own songs sadly. But he's going to play more ProSekai on stream. While I am glad the new wave has seemingly found a pretty sizable audience, at least so far, it makes me all the sadder for Denauth and especially Ryoma.
They should get on collabing together as soon as possible.
Vanta will go on a two week, possibly longer, medical streaming hiatus because of excessive vocal cord strain.
Elira is getting a new outfit at the end of the month.
Forgot to quote it here and there might not be much of a point to it, but for completeness sake, the details and teams to the NijiHolo Tournament have been announced.
First up, check out this delightfully photoshopped illustration of what the spectator experience will be like. The display boxes showing who is standing on the bases is cool, but most of the attention will be on the big screens showing the actual game. View attachment 92799
These are the seats and what you'll have to pay for them. During the stream they went through each category and gave an example of the view you can be expecting. View attachment 92800
The seats go from 5000JPY (34USD) to 14000JPY (95USD) for the major categories with some special, more expensive seating categories including a lounge for 10 people costing 550000JPY (3700USD). The more expensive categories include varying levels of merchandise and other special services. View attachment 92801
Merch will obviously be available, including team shirts, jerseys, caps, towels and clappers.
From the Hololive subreddit. This guy is genuine and should probably face jail time for this comment, as it has actually caused me physical pain. View attachment 92808
Nijisanji will open it's own permanent store in the Yokohama Vivre, a mall directly in front of Yokohama station.
The store will be a section of a much larger location of Tree Village, an otaku entertainment store. Tree Village also has locations in Fukuoka and Osaka, so they could get two more Niji store locations in due time.
The name makes it seem like it will only be for plushies and the small puppets they have of every liver, but I wonder if they won't also stock other merch.
Noctyx will release their official group cover of Virtual to Live in two days:

They've been making accessories and costumes for their nijinui stuff for a while too on various occasions, highly likely that's what the store will mainly be about besides the plushie itself
Ryoma took part in the Idol Charity thing and I guess that put him in the algorithm of some people.
He made this really heartfelt comment about being judged on the basis of being in Nijisanji, essentially for things he had no involvement in.
Obviously a one guy moment but it's clear that he is sort of insecure about that kind of comment, comments which surely are not exactly rare either.
Apart from the post on PL, he also made a post on his main account with a somewhat more positive tone focusing on the support he's getting from friends.
(a)
After receiving support on both of these posts, it seems like, at least for now, he's fought off the brain worms and is ready to pluck the fuck in.
I don't know what's missing now that we rolled back, so I'll just dump what I accumulated in my bookmarks while we were splitting timelines. Scarle is in Japan again for what she says will be a few months. The last time she was there she used the opportunity to utilize the 3D studio, so I think there might be some 3D content on the horizon.
Some EN merch news:
There's a double birthday streak coming up with Ren on the 25th and Fulgur the day after on the 26th.
Ren is also getting a solo collab Cafe in the US:
There will be a popup store in taiwan:
And I also saw these cool looking cards, I don't actually know if they are official merch or fan made, and worldwide availability is questionable.
Ver Vermillion is getting another new outfit soon:
The Noctyx Virtual to Live cover came out: And for JP news, there is a collab with 7 famous towers around Japan:
And Ryushen has a new cover coming out in 10 hours:
