Ryoma is really trying to fetch an audience and is doing some stuff I haven't seen from Nijis before to do it.
First was his starting to multi stream on twitch and YouTube, and since then he also started doing admittedly kinda cringe, but I guess proven effective algorithm bait titles.
And now it looks like he's trying to play the shorts meta.

Sadly he's a diagnosed boomer, so this all has a faint desperate look, but I feel it's still very earnest and I really fucking pull for him. He inadvertently pulled the shortest straw through no fault of his own and now he's trying to make the best of what he's been dealt.
If he can push through the slog and keep up these ways of trying to hook new viewers, I think it would be the best chance for him of making the Niji gig work.

Re: Titles, few of them have started moving towards it along with incorporating JP titles and auto-caption plugin, so I think in particular that was just a wide change but it wouldn't surprise me after he commented (ranted?) about not getting as much engagement.
