Strange. You'd think they'd be removing Diablo 1 as well. Perhaps the contract date differences means that game's removal will come later?

CoD was never good, except for maybe MW1. But that is the one exception.
Never been a serious cod fan but WaW and Blops2 are objectively amazing, Nazi Zombies has always been a fun mode and MW2 was... pretty cool. I think the overall hate for Cod is as overblown as the desperate love for it.

And even then, it was more of a highly polished spectacle and curiosity, not so much a great game - but far better than anything after.
COD1 I'd say was certainly better than it's prototype Allied Assault which was a masterclass in trash game design and level design (good shooting though) but I'd still say 2 and the MW games got both it's set design right while being proper games in comparison to what COD1 was trying to get away with
why can't we live in the timeline where Solider of Fortune was milked to death instead of generic trash shooter with the graphics that got blown out of the water a few months later
