Take Two fucked it all away at the beginning of Private Division's lifecycle by insisting on Epic exclusive PC versions.
Man I could sperg all day about Trails. I don't know any other series that's just one continuous story and a lot of the times just expects you to have played the previous 100 hour games with little explaination. I like how the Crossbell and the first 2 Erebonia games take place mostly simultaneously. I've been wanting to do an autistic replay where I swap back and forth between the Zero / Azure and Cold Steel 1 / 2 games to really play it "chronologically". I think the recent Azure releases even included certain Cold Steel characters that weren't in the original. It is a long and ongoing series, but an incredibly rewarding one, in my opinion. Some of the best JRPGs I've ever played, even some of the weaker ones in the series.
Back when I started playing the series, the most recent title in the West was Cold Steel 4. From the first game up to that one is nine games. It took me almost exactly one year to the hour to finish the series up to that point:
Trails in the Sky FC prologue achievement:
Trails of Cold Steel IV true ending achievement:
This wasn't intentional, and I only noticed this when I finished CS4. I took very few breaks from the series during that time. I think the most I took was maybe two months between Trails in the Sky the Third and Trails from Zero because there wasn't an official localization of Zero and Azure at the time, and I had to get the fan localization going. I still remember being so into Azure that it only took me 10 days to beat it....taking about 110 hours all while still going to work, sleeping, doing my regular things.
I could sperg on for a long time about how much I love this series, but I'll stop for now by saying that it is an amazing series if you have the time to invest in it, even if slowly. I've been lagging on catching up with some of the recent games in the series, but I'm trying to finish a few games I'm playing right now and plan on getting back to
Same, which is why I'll probably hold off. Sky FC was a great game, but I was constantly glued to my screen during SC. Definitely one of my favorites in the series. The story and character development was amazing. Estelle is still my favorite character in the series, mostly because of SC.Now there's a backlog of officially translated games I haven't played and there's that Sky First Chapter remake coming out soon. I just know if I play it I'll enjoy it then immediately be upset the Sky Second Chapter remake doesn't exist yet.
My favorite part about both arcs happening at the same time is thinking about what the other side is doing while you're playing. Perfect example (I'll be vague to avoid spoilers), there's a school festival going on where the main party is having the time of their lives, meanwhile the main party from the other game is fighting for their lives while everything goes to shit.Man I could sperg all day about Trails. Does it not? Reverie does this and i had assumed that was when it was implemented. My favorite part about both arcs happening at the same time is thinking about what the other side is doing while you're playing. I just finished Daybreak a month ago and I'm excited for part 2 even though I've heard it's a step back (the worst trails game is still better than slop like Veilguard or FFXVI).
i can't wait till next year where he releases a video titled Cabela's hunts 2025 but it's just live action footage of his life.
Alpha Genesis, you can't make this shit up.On Wednesday, Nov. 6, the Yemassee Police Department confirmed in a Facebook post that as of 9:45 p.m. local time, 40 primates — who escaped from the Alpha Genesis facility located on Castle Hall Road — still hadn't been found.
Fuck man, whose idea was it to let some director who made a show about a 70's Japanese man getting cucked and subsequently act in and direct gonzo porn to feel better to do a Yakuza 1 adaptation? The sad thing is someone could probably make a decent TV series using the ME plot, but you just know it's going to be ass like so many other recent adaptations.

The entire show will be about the gay shuttle pilot (with the dead HUSBAND) from 3.The sad thing is someone could probably make a decent TV series using the ME plot, but you just know it's going to be ass like so many other recent adaptations.
i swear the whole production side has brainrot.Amazon Studios tries not to make a shitty adaption challenge (Impossible)
Gamespot, after 15 years of putting out pure trash, finally hits gold with the Jonathan Ferguson videos about guns in different games.
Then they unceremoniously fire the guy who got that set up and actually works with Jonathan Ferguson to make those videos.
Common game journalism L.
I'm not sure if they started it or not, but unlike most of them they were actually entertaining to watch, and the "expert" had more to say than "That's crazy, go [buy my book/join the marines/read up on what a cool guy I am]"Is he the one that started the trend of "professionals in specialized industry give a take on how media portrays the industry"? Or did he just jump on the bandwagon?
