Things have been quiet for a little here, but it seems like Grimmi is taking action about her sauce company;
Of note is that it still hasn't been verified whether a company even exists, legally speaking. Assuming it should be based in California, there's absolutely nothing for "saucy biz," which is the name on the website and the bottle. I'm using https://bizfileonline.sos.ca.gov/search/business to check for CA based businesses.

I'm concerned about the fact that Grimmi trying to juggle multiple important and time-consuming things at once. She's going to remove the cyst, and even if there's no compications, it will definitely affect her mental balance, she gonna need few months to adjust. Dealing with both streaming and sauce stuff at the same time while adjusting to shifts in your brain activity and behaviour is not the best idea. Being busy could help if she's lucky, but also clould do damage. And vtubers are famously unlucky, and Grimmi is among worst examples.
If she's getting decent legal advice regarding her company now, she would not incorporate in California. She would incorporate in Delaware.
Or NV. If she's in CA, NV probably makes the most sense.
NV definitely makes more sense than CA since you can form an Anonymous LLC there. But I still think Delaware is the best choice, because having to buy out a business partner probably means you'll be facing business litigation sooner, rather than later.
DE is making itself less business-friendly, as we saw with the judge trying to void Musk's shareholder-approved pay package.

God damn. I checked on them something like a week and a half ago and they had only lost a few people overall. I figured they were stable overall. Then suddenly, this. Wow.
Another thing of note: Grimmi said she have a lot of work, but overall she's enjoying running hot sauce venture by herself. She'll have to file taxes for in in two states though, for that brief period of co-ownership.
Site relaunch and new taste somewhere in august, hopefully.

For some products, it's just branding indeed. But you have to dig into specifics on how each product is manufactured. Most hot sauces are made in small factories with a lot of manual labor. Workers are carting around pots ranging from 10 to 100L, main vessels to brew end product range from 100 too 500L. There are many videos on youtube with factory tours, basically automation only exist at packing stage. There is no extra manufacturing cost if you want to make minimal batch (100-200L) with custom recipe once in a while.
Also, and i don't know how much of it is Grimmi's usual dramatization, but she slipped "we might have saved the factory" in the launch stream, which compounds on it being very small production.

You know the issues in the space are bad when you have to think through "now which mess was this company?" and have an index of a couple to go through. Reading back, I think my initial assessment likely has merit. Seth is semi-competent and never learned to do his paperwork properly and got himself into this mess because he refused to do his paperwork properly.

When i was looking at the list yesterday, Nagzz and RPR weren't there. Archive snapshot from 30th have 19 people, i counted only 15 people around midnight UTC 31/1. So there were multiple edits.
